Websites: Design and Layout
When developing a new website or evaluating an existing website you should at a minimum consider five key things – appearance, usability, functionality, content and search engine optimisation. This workshop will explores the first three elements and includes the following topics:
- Website design/appearance:
- user expectations about where and what content to find on a website
- when to use graphic designers and web developers
- Usability
- using wireframes
- developing a sitemap
- Functionality
- why your website needs to be mobile responsive
