Canberra’s online auction specialists, ALLBIDS, are once again assisting with raising much needed funds for Snowy Hydro SouthCare. They have just launched an online auction which will include an exclusive tour of Perisher with Olympic gold medallist, Torah Bright.
“People can jump online and bid for this fabulous and unique experience – the chance to go on a half day tour of Perisher with Cooma-born professional snowboarder and Olympic champion, Torah Bright,” said Rob Evans, CEO and Founder of ALLBIDS.
“This unique experience will see the winner take three friends to Perisher, including lift tickets and lunch at Snow Gums Restaurant in the Perisher Valley Hotel. Plus they’ll head off on the tour with Torah.
“They can chat to Torah about winning gold in Vancouver in 2010, and what it’s like to be the first Australian snowboarder to ever win gold at the Winter X Games,” he continued.
Torah Bright, who lives and trains in Salt Lake City Utah and is part of the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Team, will donate her time during the 2014 ski season on a date mutually arranged.
“This is just one of many experiences and products we’re currently auctioning online to raise funds for Snowy Hydro SouthCare. It’s such a worthy cause as they are the primary provider of aero-medical and rescue helicopter services to those in need in Canberra and south eastern NSW.
“ALLBIDS are proud to be supporting local charities and community groups and we’ve helped raise over $3 million for them over the last ten years,” Rob continued.
Other items up for auction via ALLBIDS to raise funds for Snowy Hydro SouthCare include a mix of accommodation and meals packages at Hotel Realm, Lake Crackenback Resort, and Elm Cottage, an Xbox 360 and games package, a wine package at Dionysus Winery, and brunch at Hyatt Hotel Canberra.
