Underground Spirits, Canberra’s most awarded spirits brand and the spirit of Canberra, is inviting locals and visitors to Canberra to ‘pop in’ to the Distillery for special Open Days and cocktail making Star Classes in the lead up to Christmas.
“We would love to welcome everyone to pop around to our place for Christmas this year,” said Underground Spirits CEO, Claudia Roughley.
“We will offer visitors tastings and sales of all our favourites, along with three varieties which have been created and released just in time for Christmas – a brand new Citrus Chilli Vodka, and the return of our very popular Vanilla Vodka and Hazelnut Vodka,” Claudia continued.
Underground Spirits will open the Distillery to visitors for Christmas tastings and sales on the weekend of 6th, 7th and 8th December, and again on 13th, 14th, 15th December. The new varieties will be available from the Distillery in special 100ml bottles, with the Caramel Vodka also being made to a mini size for Christmas. Visitors can choose any two varieties as their Christmas ‘pick and mix’, packaged up in a beautiful Underground Spirits Christmas gift box.
As part of the weekend events, Underground Spirits will host special Star Classes, with their Brand Ambassador, Colombine Courouble. There will be three sessions onsite on Saturday 7th , and again on Saturday 14th December.
“Our resident cocktail creator extraordinaire, Collie, will show small intimate groups how to create the most delicious cocktails using our spirits as the stars. Columbine’s cocktail making tutorial will have you making standout drinks that will be the true stars of your festive season,” said Claudia.
Underground Spirits will be open to welcome Christmas guests on the weekend of 6 – 8 December, and again on 13 – 15 December – Friday 2pm to 7pm, Saturday 11am to 6pm, Sunday 11am to 5pm. The Underground Spirits Star Classes will take place on Saturday 7th and Saturday 14th December, with three sessions available to book at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm. These are ticketed events at a cost of $25 per person and will be limited to just six people per session. Ticket price includes cocktail making tutorial and tastings.
