Media Release – Friday 5 April 2013

Kids and parents alike will enjoy all that’s on offer at Kids in the Shed – a special theme event at the Old Bus Depot Markets in Canberra on Sunday 16 June 2013.

It’s all about the youngsters at Kids in the Shed. There’s face painting, delicious eats and treats and heaps of products designed especially for them, as well as loads of entertainment.

“Milo the Clown will be performing – he’s Canberra’s favourite clown and he’s always a big hit with the kids. There will be also be a jumping castle and loads of other entertainment, it’s just a great day out”, said Diane Hinds, Director of the Old Bus Depot Markets.

At this event the spotlight is on the kids. But just because the stars of this show are small, doesn’t mean the entertainment and the stalls on the day won’t pack a punch!

“There will be things especially created for kids everywhere and handmade items that you just won’t find in stores,” continued Diane.

Stallholders will be armed and ready with all the latest trends in children’s clothing and fashion. Plus, the hottest accessories will be on show in addition to handcrafted toys, artwork and much more.

Hand sewn christening outfits, children’s room décor, modern and wearable children’s clothing – all this and more will be available on the day. From infants, to bigger kids – there will be something for every youngster.

It’s sure to be a great day for all the family including the grandparents, so make sure you come on down to Kids in the Shed.

Kids in the Shed at the Old Bus Depot Markets will be open from 10am to 4pm on Sunday 16 June 2013 and entry is free.  For more information visit www.obdm.com.au
