National Gallery of Australia

The National Gallery of Australia (NGA) is home to Australia’s national collection of art.  It hosts permanent and international exhibitions, as well as various public programmes and events.  The purpose of the Gallery is to enhance understanding and enjoyment of the visual arts.Visitors to the NGA can see many works of art from the gallery’s four main art areas: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, Australian, Asian and International.
