Things have been heating up in the Capital this month, and here at Threesides we can’t believe it’s so close to Christmas. We’ve all been watching a lot of basketball with the WNBL season underway in Queensland, and around town we have some clients gearing up for a summer rush, while others are planning their holidays. If you haven’t been paying attention, you can catch up on everything Threesides right here in November’s Wrap.

Caps rebound strong after opening night loss

Earlier this month on November 11, Threesides staff were invited as sponsors to attend the UC Capitals’ season opener at Dendy Cinemas. The Caps fought back from a 10-point three quarter time deficit to force OT but were unfortunately toppled by a resilient Adelaide team. From all accounts it was a great night for everyone. And in even better news, our girls have gone undefeated in the seven games since their opener and are surely destined for a three-peat.

RUC’s new website goes live

After a lot of work behind the scenes, the RUC were able to launch their new website on Friday November 27. This comes after a rebranding in the past couple months that involved a redesigned logo and refreshed brand colours. Their new website will allow them to take their online presence to the next level, and we think it looks great!

Underground Spirits ready to offer Urban Distillery Experiences

Our friends at Underground Spirits haven taken up residence in the Canberra Region Visitors Centre and are set to offer a brand-new urban distillery experience. The specialty tasting bar is going to be offered throughout summer and will be Canberra’s first lakeside spirit tasting experience. With two session types on offer, these experiences are ready to book now.

AEIOU Foundation raise the roof

The build of AEIOU Foundation’s world-class early intervention centre for children with autism in Garran is coming along in leaps and bounds, with the news coming through in November that the roof and solar panel system has now been completed. This is exciting news for a lot of us, and it’s great to know that even through multiple rain delays the construction is still on track to meet all milestones.

Under the hammer: Menslink charity auction still underway

This year, instead of asking for cash donations, Menslink put the message out that they wanted our goods and services donated for an ALLBIDS charity auction. It’s been a tough year, and this creative request has prompted a lot of generosity; the donor at the top of the running leaderboard, Lennock Motors, is currently sitting on $914 raised with multiple items still being bid on. If you want to see what’s up for grabs, or if you have something you could donate, check out their auction page here.

As we all take our final steps towards the end of the year, we want to remind everyone to take a moment for themselves every now and again. Enjoy spending time with family and don’t let yourself get caught up in the pressures and stress that comes with the festive season. If you want to get in touch with the Threesides team to get a head start on your 2021 marketing, you can reach us on (02) 6249 1117.
