The Old Bus Depot Markets are the place to be on the Easter long weekend with the special Easter Portobello Road event to be held on Sunday 8 April.
Portobello Road is a favourite amongst those who love browsing for collectables and small antiques, and offers a fun day out for those ready and willing to trawl the aisles, scan the stalls and pick through the piles of interesting curios.
Portobello Road will offer around an additional 35 stallholders offering everything from Scandinavian mid century chairs, bright and colourful vases and cut lace tablecloths, to oil lamps, antique cuff links, Parisian buttons and old trading card collections. Rummage through a stack of old suitcases, funky lamp shades, tea cups and saucers and ceramic and glass flying ducks to decorate your home. Retro decorative art blends with antique jewellery, china and art glass, silver, linens and restored pieces.
Visitors may also have the chance to meet and speak with experienced antique dealers throughout the day.
Easter Portobello Road at the Old Bus Depot Markets will be open from 10am to 4pm on Sunday 8 April and entry is free. For more information visit www.obdm.com.au
