The 2013 winter snow season is finally here and there’s still a chance to take advantage of peak season advance bookings which are available with The Lantern Thredbo Apartments.
“If you’ve been thinking about a trip to Thredbo to experience our best season of the year, then the time to act is now as you can still grab a good deal on last minute accommodation – and in peak season,” said Ian Foster, General Manager of The Lantern Property Group which operates Lantern Apartments, Lhotsky Apartments and Elevation Apartments amongst others.
“Right now there are still peak season advance booking specials available which can save visitors up to 30% off the normal nightly rates for stays of up to five nights or more,” Ian continued.
Although these special rate offers have sold out in many cases, there are still apartments available in the weeks from 21 July until 1 August. Visitors can save over $500* for a five night stay in a one bedroom apartment at the Lantern, or close to $1300* off the three bedroom loft apartment at Elevation.
Families are also really well catered for with Kids Free Weekends on 20 July, 24 August and 14 September. For each paying adult who buys a weekend lift pass, one child will receive a comparable pass free. There are also Learn to Ride weeks which provide the perfect opportunity to learn to ski or snowboard. From 16-20 September the offer includes a lift pass at normal winter season rates with the lessons and equipment hire included at no extra cost.
So far bookings are going great for the season in general with an increase of 15-20% in forward bookings compared to this time last year, so visitors are urged to act fast.
“Be quick for the peak season advance bookings. We’ve currently got skiing on Friday Flat, but the outlook for the coming week has at least five days of snow fall forecast so it’s definitely going to get a whole lot better here in Thredbo,” Ian concluded.
