Sts Peter and Paul Primary School

Marketing education with Sts Peter and Paul Primary School

Sts Peter and Paul Primary School, Garran provides primary school education from Kindergarten to Year 6 and, as a corridor school, takes enrolments from over 50 suburbs across Canberra. Built on the values of the Catholic Education system, the school exists to help children flourish. This is demonstrated in its unique programs including STEM and cooking programs, plus more obscure programs that engage children including Code Club, Bagpipes Club, Garden Club, and a Leadership program for students in Years 3-6.

Since 1968, Sts Peter and Paul Primary School has delivered well-researched pedagogical practices to families across Canberra, and we are thrilled to be working with them as they continue to provide quality education to primary school students across the nation’s capital.

Sts Peter and Paul’s goals

  • Establish a differentiation in the school’s positioning in the market to build the unique profile of the school and its programs
  • Increase enrolments from across its intake suburbs

Our approach

All good things start with a plan, and our work with Sts Peter and Paul started no differently. We got to work on finding out what was important, what made this school different to other schools in the area, and prepared a Marketing Strategy, Integrated Digital Advertising Plan, and Enrolment Journey Map. While “everything” was in scope, we focused on what mattered: telling the story of the good work and results of the school and its staff, and the genuinely quality and engaging experience of its students.

We identified early that there was an opportunity for the school to develop a program unique to Canberra, aimed at providing a quality education for the students of healthcare and frontline workers who live and work in the Woden area. The program received local media attention since it was formalised as an offering to families.

We provided guidance for the in-house development of their social media program, have launched digital advertising, and are currently working on developing a website that reflects the school’s modern approach to education within the parameters of Catholic Education.
