Marketing health services with SportsCare Canberra
SportsCare Canberra is a locally owned and operated sports therapy business with five locations across the capital – Barton, Dickson, Mawson, Parliament House and Weston. More than just physiotherapy, SportsCare provides allied health services across Canberra for people in all stages of life, having created multidisciplinary teams so their clients can conveniently access all that they need with confidence. Services include physiotherapy, exercise physiology, hand clinic, bike fit, concussion clinic, group exercise classes, hydrotherapy and massage.

Our approach
Threesides has been on a fantastic journey of learning with SportsCare. From clinic openings (new clinics in Mawson and Dickson), clinics closing (Bruce), to open days, sponsorship of the Canberra Capitals, the installation of ground-breaking equipment such as the anti-gravitational treadmill, the establishment of the Hand Clinic, celebrating 25 years, brand refresh and much more, we’ve thoroughly enjoyed being by SportsCare’s side marketing all their sporting goodness over the years.
With various iterations of Marketing Plans that have moved as the business has evolved, our initial focus was growing the SportsCare community through content creation and sharing via social media and EDMs. Graphic design for the brand has stretched from small appointments and business cards to the delivery of large-scale full-clinic branding on windows and doors. Whilst we absolutely still focus marketing activity on maintaining an invaluable community of SportsCare fans via bi-monthly blogs, EDMs and website, we have moved to a bigger picture whole-of-business strategy with individualised tactics for each clinic to undertake themselves. Recently, digital advertising has focused on the provision of specific services such as women’s health and the upper limb casting on Meta.
