Poachers Pantry

Since 1991, this small family run business has grown from a producer of gourmet smoked meats to include a Smokehouse Cafe, Wily Trout cool climate wine range, farm shop, cellar door and rustic wedding location. Early September 2016, the NEW Poachers Pantry Smokehouse Restaurant and Wily Trout Cellar Door were launched. The restored, renovated, reinvigorated and reenergised Poachers Pantry seats 100 people inside in a new layout, with the deck and terrace seating a further 100 outside.

About Poachers Pantry

From simple beginnings as an artisan smokehouse, Poachers Pantry has grown to include the Smokehouse Restaurant, the Poachers Pantry Vineyard, farm shop, cellar door, country wedding and event destination.

The Poachers Pantry Vineyard straddles the north east facing slopes of the granite hills that lie in the heart of the Murrumbateman and Canberra Wine Region. It is renowned for its soft, peppery shiraz and elegant aromatic white varieties. Poachers is now in the hands of the second generation vigneron, Will Bruce.
