Developing a new product and taking it to market is always an exciting adventure, but developing and launching a shared product between multiple businesses? That’s a great challenge!
Threesides Marketing has been working with National Dinosaur Museum, Cockington Green Gardens, Canberra Reptile Zoo, and Canberra Walk-In Aviary for the last six months to develop and promote a new multi-attraction pass in Canberra. The ticket is supported by and sold through Canberra Region Visitors Centre (CRVC) and financially supported by the ACT Government under the Tourism Cooperative Marketing Fund.
Threesides worked with the National Dinosaur Museum in the grant application process, and was tasked with building, launching and marketing the joint ticket to Canberra and the surrounding region.
Previously, there has only been one multi-attraction ticket in Canberra – 3infun, which Threesides also helped develop – so bringing a new product to the market was going to be a good challenge, and also something we were familiar with. The Gold Creek Adventure Ticket is a new family or combination ticket that is scalable for the businesses and unique to the region.
This Gold Creek Adventure Ticket project involved:
- Brand and logo development.
- Product development for the ticket packages.
- Website design, development, and reporting.
- Print and digital collateral design and production, including DL Flyers, A-Frame signage, posters and digital graphics.
- A social media advertising strategy.
- Staff training materials and external product deck.
The start to finish product design and development journey has been a fantastic opportunity for Threesides to work with these local businesses, especially in a post-COVID world where many businesses are still working hard to recover.
The ticket officially launched on Friday 14 May 2021, and is now available for purchase.
