The Old Bus Depot Markets is getting into the spirit, feeling festive and decking the halls as they quickly approach the Christmas holiday season. And it’s a sure bet their Christmas offerings – Christmas Kids and Super Christmas Weekend – will be just the thing to add to your silly season checklist – no need to check it twice!

“All our stallholders are stocked up with the best in local and regionally made Christmas gifts, making the Markets a great place to stop at for your Christmas shopping,” said Old Bus Depot Markets’ dDrector, Anthony Niravong.

“Buying local is a great way to give your loved ones a unique, handcrafted Christmas gift, whilst supporting the businesses from your own community. The added bonus is that you can completely avoid the big shopping centres and the crowds, with parking at the Markets easy too.

“For the kids, Christmas Kids will be the stand-out event with visitors being able to buy the kids a pony ride, a go on the jumping castle, or some festive fairy floss and balloons. The kids can also catch the hilarious elf show, and photos with Santa Claus will keep them entertained.

“Super Christmas weekend will be the biggest market of the year and your best chance for some last-minute Christmas shopping. This is the weekend when all Old Bus Depot Markets stallholders come together for a wide selection of goodies to choose from,” Anthony continued.

Old Bus Depot Markets will have a range of Christmas decorations and gift ideas on offer from now right through until the last market of 2019 on Sunday 22nd December. Christmas themed goodies this year include handmade Christmas candles, baubles, Advent Calendars, Christmas decorations and Australian themed Christmas cards, wreaths and hanging decorations. There will also be festive foods galore, with gingerbread houses and other delicious Christmas themed baked goods.

The Markets is also the place to buy your freshly cut Christmas trees from Santa’s Shaped Christmas Trees.

“And while we are in the mood for Christmas giving, during December markets you can get all your Christmas goodies wrapped for a gold coin donation, which will go straight to Animal Aid Abroad. We welcome everyone to markets for the happiest time of year,” concluded Anthony.
