Lantern Thredbo Apartments is encouraging people to take the family to the snow this spring with some good recent snowfalls and great packages and deals on offer.
“The 2013 snow season has really kicked into gear this week with over 50cm of snow falling in Thredbo. This could extend the good falls well into spring, making Thredbo a great place to bring the family for a spring getaway,” said Ian Foster, General Manager of The Lantern Property Group which operates Lantern Apartments, Lhotsky Apartments and Elevation Apartments amongst others.
“Spring has always been a lovely time of year to visit Thredbo. It’s a great time to bring the kids to see the snow, especially if they haven’t been before. There is something magical about seeing the kids get so excited seeing snow for the first time.

The package is available for booking now for visits between 15 and 30 September, and is only $634 for a family of four. The package price will then drop even further to just $430 from 30 September until the end of the school holidays.
“And if you want to have the kids learn to ski or snowboard during spring, visit during our Learn to Ride week from 16-20 September. During this week you can pay for a lift pass at normal rates, but then lessons and equipment hire are included at no extra cost. So you can save on accommodation and have the family learn from the professionals at the same time,” Ian concluded.
