The Old Bus Depot Markets will this weekend host its 12th Creative Fibre event – the day when unique artists from around the region flood the markets with their fibre and textile artworks. It all happens this Sunday, 17 July 2016.

“Creative Fibre is the day to come to the markets and mix with people who design, print on fabric, weave, knit, hand dye fabric and more. Visitors can learn about the processes involved and take home original works,” said Old Bus Depot Markets’ Director, Anthony Niravong.

“Visitors can also engage with the artists, and find out more about their textile speciality and the processes involved in making amazing pieces,” Anthony continued.

Aesthetic and fun products, paper makers, spinners, print makers, block printers, felters and free-form fibre artists, just to name a few, will come from around the region to take part.

Creative Fibre is on Sunday 17 July, open from 10am until 4pm and entry is free. For more information visit www.obdm.com.au
