A reminder that Canberra’s award-winning markets, the Old Bus Depot Markets in Kingston, will host its final markets for the year this weekend on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 December 2012, just in time for Christmas.
The Old Bus Depot Markets is open every Saturday and Sunday in December in the lead up to the big day, with the markets currently abuzz with Christmas spirit.
Foodies will love the spread available including mince tarts, shortbread, Christmas cakes, miniature gingerbread houses, puddings and more, all inspired by the flavours of Christmas. There are also live Christmas trees, hand carved ornaments, Christmas cards and heaps of great gift ideas.
The markets will then be closed on the following Sundays:

The markets reopen on Sunday 13 January 2013 with one of Canberra’s favourite shopping events, Portobello Road. With its aisles of treasures — from antiques to homewares — Portobello Road is perfect for those who love the thrill of the hunt.
