The almond-shaped leaves on the Chinese Pistachio trees outside our office have morphed from lush greens to a rich strawberry-jam crimson, and behind our famous red door the Threesides team have been transforming our clients’ ideas from inspired visions into successful marketing campaigns.

In this month’s Wrap, we take a look at best practices for direct response marketing, the Capital Region Farmers Market’s newly secured funding, the YMCA’s new website, the latest capabilities from Instagram’s April updates, and a soon-to-be opened early intervention centre for children with autism.

Are you making the most out of direct response marketing?

If your response was “what’s direct response marketing?”, then the answer is probably no.

Direct response marketing is the act of presenting a targeted audience with a specific message that is designed to drive immediate action, and it can be one of the most effective strategies for small to medium sized businesses that are aiming to make immediate returns on their campaigns.

This blog, written by Einstein Marketer’s Josh Barney, goes into depth on what direct response marketing is, and how you can use it to achieve your marketing goals.

CRFM secure government funding for digital marketing campaign

We were recently successful in our efforts to secure the Tourism Cooperative Marketing Fund grant from VisitCanberra for our client The Capital Region Farmers Market.

The funding is designed to encourage Canberra-based organisations or businesses to collaborate on innovative marketing campaigns that increase awareness of Canberra and region as a leisure destination and have allowed the Market to launch a locally focussed digital influencer campaign.

YMCA launch new website

Threesides has been working hard for the last few months developing a brand-new website for YMCA. The new website is a modernisation of their old web presence and gives their Canberra services a new home that is both informative and easy to navigate.

If your website needs some polishing, we offer a variety of web services from simple updates to the web design, right through to full rebuilds.

Instagram continues to roll out innovative updates

Do you keep up with all of Instagram’s many updates? For example, in April they introduced Remix Reels – a new way to collab on Instagram that allows you to create your own reel alongside an existing reel.

In the rapidly evolving world of social media, it’s easy to feel like you’re being left behind the current trends. Thankfully, Hootsuite’s Katie Sehl keeps on top of all the latest changes for you in their Instagram updates blog.

AEIOU Foundation’s new Canberra Region centre nears completion

April is Autism Awareness Month in Australia, and in great news for local families, AEIOU Foundation is now putting the final touches on the build of their state-of-the-art early intervention centre for children with autism.

This month, Threesides assisted AEIOU in presenting two workshops for families: one was focussed on Understanding behaviour, while the other was titled Play – more than just fun and games, explaining some of the benefits of play.
